OUR GREAT BRAINS JUST LEFT FOR THE WEST.
Our great brains like Ali Mazrui, Ngugi Wa Thiong'o,Calestous Juma, Micere Mugo just packed thir bags and left for the west, the excuses of persecution holds no water any longer, greener grass is the reason they have continued to stay there,Ngugi abandoned his Kamirithu community. Our sons left us to go and develop the west more , this is intellectual slavery so when Ngugi gets mistreated in San Fransisco after decades in California I will not feel it.

The climate change summit in Nairobi was largely ignored by American media notably CNN which only highlights calamities and disasters in Africa, this is a big shame considering America contributea 25% of the harmful gases that cause greenhouse effect.I warn you the west that they can not survive with caaned air so if you do not reverse your ways we shall perish together although we are not to blame.

I do not believe Iam a pessimist or negative about issues, but the recently launched Mo Ibrahim Prize for Achievementin African leadership rings hollow to me.I think the Darfur region crisis is of more immediate attention than wanting to honor despots with money, I think Ibrahim wants to buy our leaders like Tiny Rowlands attemped and succeeded. There is no need of competing with the nobel prize, even Bill Gates has not attempetd to do this despite having the richest foundation on earth.I urge Mo Ibrahim to seek ideas on how best the money can help humanity not a human.I think Bill Clinton and Koffi Annan are dirtying their names in endorsing this award.
There is too much hype and talk coming from Ibrahim.360 million is enough to drill 180 or more boreholes which will last more than a person's lifetime.

The nomination of Mps to EALA stinks to high heavens. Why is Ngilu and Kombo nominating their alleged lovers.
The winner of the Chicago marathon Mr.Cheruiyot seems to be too green in this game, the American lawyers were too drooling to help him sue the orgarnisers over his fall on the track, they know there is money to be made but poor boy does not know. Am keeping my fingers closed.
